Trinity Legal Center
Attorney at Law
Legal Advocate for Women Hurt by Abortion
Defender of Life and Advancer of Justice.
Story: Linda Schlueter has become intimately acquainted with the harrowing pain of abortion, not through exper-
ience but relationship. Since 2000, she has been working with moms who know the despair and tragedy of abortion firsthand --- the irreversible decision of ending their children’s lives. Linda has been empowered by God's
heart and passion to ensure their voices of experience is heard. She is dedicated to advancing justice for women, minors, and families in the high courts.
Women across the U.S. and abroad have entrusted their personal story through sworn evidence to the hands and heart of Linda's calling to defend life.
Landmark cases, including those of Norma McCorvey, former “Roe” of Roe v. Wade and Sandra Cano, former “Doe” of Doe v. Bolton have returned to the federal courts with the support of Linda's sound dedication and outstanding advocacy skills.
Crystal's presentations are always from the heart, tailored to her audiences, interactive and spiced with one of God's special gifts, internal beauty.
In 2005 she testified as an expert witness at the invitation of the legislatively created South Dakota Task Force to Study Abortion, presenting this sworn testimony of over 1900 women that discloses how their abortions led to years of pain and physical and psychological suffering. This is the largest body of known sworn evidence about the harm of abortion.
South Dakota published the first government study of abortion in 30 years and is the basis of legislative efforts to protect women and the unborn. Read Linda's Statement

Bio
Linda Schlueter is an attorney and former Professor of Law at St. Mary's University School of Law in San Antonio, Texas (1983-1994), specializing in legal research and writing. She has served in various capacities with The Justice Foundation (TJF) from 1998-2007, including Vice President of Legal Affairs, senior staff attorney, and chief brief writer.
In 2006 in the partial birth abortion case, Gonzales v. Carhart, the United States Supreme Court acknowledged the detrimental effects of abortion on women, citing an amicus brief written by Linda Schlueter. It was the only brief of 50 filed that was cited by the Court.
She has been cited by the Supreme Court several times as well as by other state and federal courts and legal commentators numerous
times.
Linda has received numerous awards, including the 1991-92 IBCs Interna-tional Woman of the Year and IBCs the Twentieth Century Award for Achieve-
ment. She has been listed in numerous Marquis’ Who’s Who including Who’s Who in America and Who’s Who in American Law.
In December 2007, Linda Schlueter launched Trinity Legal Center and serves as President of the Center, is a non-profit, public-interest litigation and legislation support center created to defend life and advance justice:
In the courts through lawsuits and other
legal efforts on behalf of women and
minors injured by abortion
In legislatures by assisting legislators
and organizations in legislative efforts
that will protect women, minors, and
unborn children
In the public arena by equipping women
and by providing resources and
opportunities through the Center’s
Women’s Council on Abortion to speak on
the harm of abortion
In May 2008, Linda filed an amicus brief (friend of the court brief) with the United States Supreme Court in Acuna v. Turkish. The Acuna case involves a state court condoning a physi-
cian giving false and misleading information to a pregnant woman about the nature of the life within her. The Acuna case and the brief are important for two very significant reasons.
The brief provides substantial scientifically reliable data that the Supreme Court said it lacked last year in their partial-birth abortion ruling and the Acuna case involves a state court condoning a physician giving false and misleading information to a pregnant woman about the nature of the life within her.
The amicus brief represents Sandra Cano, who was “Doe” of Doe v. Bolton, the companion case to Roe v. Wade that led to abortion on demand and partial birth abortion; Alveda King (niece of Dr. Martin Luther King) and other post-abortive women, and the American Association of Pro-Life Ob-Gyns.. What people are saying...
"Linda is both a friend and colleague who I have known for many years. I turned to Linda on more than one occasion to obtain her legal input when drafting the Texas School children's Religious Liberties Act. In my opinion, if Linda Schlueter is going to be leading the Trinity Legal Center, that guarantees that this organization will be excellent."
"There are simply not enough groups like Trinity that have quality attorneys like Linda and her staff who will show up in court to protect religious liberties and show up in the Legislature to write quality legislation. Linda has expertise in successfully accomplishing both. I applaud Linda for the gift she is giving all of us in founding Trinity Legal Center."
